Some of you may have heard that I entered in a contest in early October. The contest was to compose an original song, record a video of yourself performing the demo, and post the video on YouTube.
The winner would receive a trip to L.A., with a guest, to meet Avril Lavigne’s former guitarist, Evan Taubenfeld, and rerecord the demo with him. In addition, the winner would receive a gift card to Wake Up, Frankie! and a Daisy Rock Rock Candy Custom electric guitar in Dark Star finish.
For over a month, I heard no news. Then, Monday night, I received an e-mail notifying that I had been chosen as the winner! In early December, I will be flying out to L.A. to meet Taubenfeld and work a final product of my own song!
